, only style remains the same. – Coco Chanel
Whether you realize it or not, what you wear says a lot about you. Even if you’re not fashion conscious and throw on just whatever’s within reach, the choices you make, the clothes you have and choose on any particular day, they represent what your financial and social situation is, what your plans for the day are, and ultimately, what’s going on in your head at the moment. There is much that what you wear can tell the world, but do you ever stop and listen to what your clothes choices are telling you?
When you put your clothes on
, for whatever purpose, be it commuting to work, heading out to the gym, going to a fine restaurant, slipping into bed, do you want the clothes to reflect who you are and how you’re feeling at the moment, or are you hoping the clothes will make you someone you’re not or help you to feel something about yourself that you don’t? Are you dressing the part
, as they say, using clothes to make you who you want to be, or do you have a clear idea of yourself and the clothes are just the tools you use to support the self-image you already have?
Are you wearing your clothes or are your clothes wearing you?
