Good or bad, every day ends, only to start anew, fresh and original. And so it is for you, too.
No matter how many times my little man Gunther catches a tennis ball or doesn’t catch it, he’s ready and hungry for the next throw. He doesn’t judge his failures, and he doesn’t rest on his successes. He’s in the moment, focused on the challenge. The more he catches, the more he wants to catch. The more he misses the catch, the more he wants to try
, again. What a great way to live life.
Trying to repeat the past, or fearing that you will repeat the past, blurs how you see the here and now. Whatever happened yesterday, you are responsible for what you do today. Yesterday may dictate what resources you have to work with today, but what you do with them is original to the here and now
, not restricted by yesterday.
No matter how familiar it may look to you, every day is original, and a chance to be original in how you live it.
