In your life, does the end justify the means? Where is the real satisfaction, in the destination you seek or along the road traveled?
Once you achieve something you’ve strived for, does the striving end for you, or is it just a chance to catch your breath before switching to a new path, a new goal to strive for?
Have you ever felt a little let down once you’ve gotten what you’ve worked for
, let down because the challenge is done? If you have known this feeling, then you are tuned into the life experience.
It is when we face adversity
, obstacles, distant horizons that we discover what we are now and what we are capable of becoming. To be without a goal is to be without a future. If you have nowhere to direct your energies, you are stagnant, idle in place. When there is nothing to change in your life, nowhere else for you to move physically, emotionally, or spiritually, life for you goes from a river to a puddle.
If you are unhappy, discontent, emotionally or spiritually sterile
, consider if perhaps you are stuck in a destination rather than traveling towards new goals.
